Not a great race for me today time wise. But I did have a blast, the people were in great spirits despite the cold, wind, and rain. I went out fast like I wanted to try to get my sub 1:20, but a downhill 4th mile hurt because I opened it up (5:55) and never recovered. Just goes to show downhills will hurt you more than uphills. Still, happy to have run 1:22, only my 3rd half ever, just didnt have it today. Not too bummed though, like I said, it was fun!

That's the most important thing to have fun. Great job.

Good job Jacob! Isn't that a fun course? I'm looking forward to D-to-D. You running that one too?

Thanks! Yea I prefer really flat courses, I havent had much training for the hills haha. Yep, I'm doing dam to dam as long as I havent moved out to portland for the summer by then. I'll be looking forward to it! Do you have any other races planned before then?

I'm planning D-to-D and then race once a month therafter up to TCM in Oct. I would like to run the Bix 7 for sure. That's suppose to be a great event.

Thanks jtshad!

Robert- I have heard great things about bix as well. When is it again? I may still be out in Oregon then if it is in the summer like I fear it is.

Yes, July 25th is the Bix. The Fifth Season 8K in Cedar Rapids, IA on July 4th attracts some fast folks as well.
