5 today, the weather was perfect again, so i let that dictate my pace and ended up averaging 6:58's. The knee felt good later in the run again today. However, it has been really painful since and walking has been hard. I may need to take a few weeks off to let this ITBS completely dissipate. It would be frustrating to waste all this training and miss my upcoming races, of which I am really looking forward too...but it would be more frustrating to be hurt for the long term. Gotta make a decision on this one. I'll see how it feels tomorrow...

1-2 weeks off. Thats my own prognosis for this knee. I have to take this to to let it heal otherwise it will become a nagging injury that would be even worse. So as tough as it is, I have to stop running for a little while...
